what do you guys think?
this guy is selling this 91 lx 5.0 for $2800, the car has 70k miles on it but the interior and exterior is horrible looking, no a/c or heat, the car needs a new air flow sensor with new battery cables, easy fix ups but they do cost money. the car is motor stock and only has a offroad h pipe but the car does need to get inspected which i will have to kick out money for. i was gonna trade him my 96 gt 4.6 with 163k miles, is inspected, masterflow exhaust and a k&n filter. the interior is perfect and the exterior is perfect, 3 things the ebrake doesnt work it just needs to be tighten and the rear left wheel loses air. and it doesnt have a spoiler.
The guy was like i will trade you but only if you throw up 500 with the 96. i said no thats stupid ill give 200 maybe. he said he will think about it. should i do it or no?

In two words: HELL NO! You could do alot better for 2800 bucks. I know it's a fox but you're going to trade your car that runs fine for a car that runs like crap and give him money? Doesn't seem logical, hold out and find something better or sell yours and buy something better.

Well I think you need to broaden your shopping horizons then and start looking around to see what's out there. Expand your search and you will find one. Just have SOME patience.

As if a 96 GT was enough.. He wanted 500$ ON TOP of it? AHAHHAHA **** that. The trade wasnt even to begin with. You can do MUCH better then that

f-that noise bro he should give you some money i gave $5000 for my 90 lx. Not to brag cause theres always cleaner cars but mine has a flaw less paint job and interior and a fair amount of mods. Sell your car save your money buy that 5.0 you always wanted thats what i did dont settle for anything less. Even if you have to leave your state to pick it up. I think theres a picture of my car on there if you want to see what $5000 got me

You are right about it being hard to find a clean foxbody in Maryland. Everybody in this state wants a fortune for a ragged out terd. Keep looking I found mine 4 years ago on fordmustangtrader.com. I am the second owner and the car started life in south carolina and then ohio before I bought it.
