I am about to dress up my newly found junkyard exploder engine. I am thinking about painting the block and heads grabber green since I have a couple cans laying around, then painting the intakes and valve covers black. The engine compartment and car will be black. I think it will be a wild contrast. I painted the back of the block to see what it would look like.
I like it, grabber green is one of my favorite colors. I painted my block red, which I hate, but it goes with the colors of the Car. My car my be black when I get done. But the seats have red threading on them, so in a sense it matches. What color is your car?

The car will be black cherry when painted. I forgot to mention that the interior will be black and red two-tone until I can afford to make it all black. Or if I like it enough, just stay black and red. Im kind of thinking the green mixed in would be too much.

Yeah, it may not go with the color of the car and interior. If the car was white, i would say do it. Maybe just paint the block red, ill take a picture of my block, I used Ford Red engine paint

How about everything just painted silver except the intake manifold? I just think a black intake is cool looking on top of a contrasting engine color... Dont know why.

i like contrasting colors but i must be old school, a blue block and heads if they are iron with an aluminum intake and valve covers is classic.

Can't have every ford block blue. How much sense does it make to have black and red all throughout the car, then just an oddball blue block in the middle of it. If its gonna look good, its gotta match

I painted my block old ford blue just to be nostalgic, but next time I'm going to paint it red. The red color goes great with all of the aluminum pieces.
