Default Yes its another question about 4.10 gears.

I've been looking around the internet trying to find what RPMs an '88 AOD GT would be turning on 4.10 gears at around 70mph and I havnt had any luck. Also what it would run on 3.73s? Thanks a lot guys, im sure somebody has asked this question before, I just cant find it....

Or you could ask what an AOD/3:73 runs at 70mph. Mine runs at 2400 at 70mph. With 4:10's, it'll be around 2600.

Thanks Eagle, now im trying to decide if i should get 3.73s or the 4.10s. I do a little highway driving but i just like the idea of running a little lower RPM. Since I dont think there is a whole lot of difference between the two performance wise I think i'll go with the 3.73s

The 3:73's would be better if you do a lot of highway driving. I've driven it coast to coast and it did fine.
