My boss was hit and run by this car - can anyone tell the make / model / year?

It looks like a Mustang / Capri / Cobra - I think from the late 80's, but haven't found one online.

We have tail light pieces - they have the 5 or 6 horizontal panes that are rounded off on the outside edges.

Anyone have an idea? Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE - Looks like a 1987 Mustang GT. Sound right to you guys?

Yeah its at least an '87 model. Doesnt look like it has sail panels behind the rear windows. It also looks to be a LX model. Hope he gets caught. I hate people that do that crap. At least there cant be to many cars like that around.

do the tail lights look like this? Thats an '87 GT, the LX tail lights were different but a person could always change them out.

We have pieces of the tail lights - they look just like the pictures without the white vertical accents.

That should be it!

I brightened it a bit and tried to clean it up.

It definitely has chrome 1995 Cobra R's, which is no help because so many have Cobra R wheels.
