I just got my first Mustang. It's a 1989, with the 5.0L 302, and a Automatic Transmission. However the shift linkage has been disconnected and I can't seem to route it properly. Are there any sites or does anyone have a routing diagram for this Automatic Transmission shift cable. Shifter is floor mounted. Any help would be greatly apreaited.
I believe the linkage from the shifter goes from the shifter toward the back of the car then turns back up to the side of the transmission, there should be something on the bottom of the car that holds it in place

The cable attaches to the bottom of the shifter, then goes towards the back of the car. It'll bend around back towards the front and then uses a grommet to attach to the linkage.
Is that what you need, or do you need to know how the linkage is arranged?
