Default What are the metal pipes called that carry coolant to the heater core?

ok, i need to know what the metal pipes that carry coolant from the thermostat housing to the heater core are called. its the metal pipe that the egr plate coolant lines go to, and the rubber heater core hoses connect to. mine has a leak and is spraying coolant everywhere. also where could i get these? pepboys? ford dealer? or would i have to get them from a junk yard? thanks in advance!

hillbilly name = metal coolant lines
back yard mechanic name= metal coolant lines
techincal name =metal coolant lines.

dealer or junk yard.

or buy the pipe at the part store and bend it your self.

then call it a metal coolant line!

You can't get that at Pep Boys or Auto Zone. It's either a salvage yard (junkyards have junk) or buy a new one from a supplier like Late Model Resto, part number LRS-9424B.

By the way, it's actually called the heater tube assembly.
