6 speed transmission suggestions?

im looking for a good place to get a custom built transmission that will handle 400+ hp for a pretty good deal. i really would like a 6speed. any suggestions

It would probably be about the same amount to just order a T-56 out of summit and i think they will hold up to that horse power.

6 speed and "pretty good deal" don't go together in the same sentence. They're big, heavy as hell, and PRICEY. If you want to do it, do it right with a 6 speed conversion kit meant for the Fox rather than cobbling one together. We have a guy here who sells and installs them quite often, he could tell you more.

By the way, expect anywhere from $3000-$3500 just for that extra gear.

There was a company out there selling a complete kit for $2500-$3000 I dont member the name, it was on a 5.0 Mag...try looking them up.

There is a T56 for Sale on Buckeye Stangs for $1000 but it is missing the Bell Housing.
