I just recently purchased the MSD distributo for my 5.0L, I got it used for $160.00 shipped. I think that is a good deal right? it only has 8000K on it. What will this do for my bone stock GT? The distributo (oem) thats in there is very old so it can only help right? Is there anything else I need to compliment this fancy distributor like the coil or plug wires? I already have the FRPP 8mm wires. What kind performance improvements will I get?

Performance wise like Reggie said, prolly none. I have a full MSD ignition now, Billet Dizzy, Blaster Coil and Super Conductor Wires. Can't hurt to make sure your Fox is gettin max spark.

Performance, not much. You'll get more stable timing though with a better distributor due to the better construction and roller bearings.
