Wow, just with a GT40 setup?! Those numbers are exactly what I'm aiming for. I would love to get my '94 anywhere into the 12's. Even a high 12 would be fantastic.

I might have to take my wing off though, that way I don't start to fly!

I got curious about the 331 and found this with google.

K&N CAI w/Summit Mass Airflow Sensor, BBK Trottle Body, BBK 70mm spacer, Mac shorty headers, H-pipe (no cats), Mac muffers, pipes dumped at back w/no tips. AOD. Drilled/slotted front rotors. Purchase it last year, been fixing it ever since. It was a lovely mess. haha.

Can anyone tell me why the Exploders/Mountaineers have a GT40 setup but are running the 19# injectors???
I thought that was kinda odd when I saw those yellow injectors sticking out...

If I do stroke my engine, it will have to wait til next year, when I get my income taxes again. Hopefully my budget will allow a 331 sooner than later.
But, I think it'd be safe to expect around 270-280 RWHP out of a 302 with the GT40P heads, my tubular intake, and probably a Steeda #19 cam. Which is still a good jump up from where I'm at now.

because of the cam and the tune in the computer ....

for the power it makes it doesn't need bigger injectors......

But you knew that, right.......

Fresh re-build with 5.0 HO cam and A9P computer and call it a day. Unless you have $$$, then you can do much more.

Yeah, I knew it had something to do with the tune, didn't know about the cam though.

Just to be 100% sure that I got the "P" heads, I found the stamp, and sure enough they said "GTP". Good thing I originally bought my BBK longtubes, cuz now I'm set.
