Black turbine rims for my 1990 Mustang GT?

Just curious if anyone had seen black turbines on a GT before. Just recently purchased mine and it had the black turbines. They were painted poorly and I'm considering keeping them for now due to cost and thought maybe I would get them done by a pro. Any pics out there of black turbines?

yes i painted them myself with some duplicolor i believe its called spray paint the black gloss that was on my old 82 notch what i did is started out just light coats make sure i got everything on the wheel painted then let it dry and go back with more coats till it was painted for the best results though just wash them really good before hand and wipe em down with rubbing alcohol

The trick to painting wheels is in the preparation. Do it right, they won't peel.
