Default starting to get tired of my car -- help

i have an 89 lx vert(see sig.for mods)and i,m getting tired of the ride on secondary rodes - it rides like a truck!! sorry - it rides like an old truck!!! thought about buying a 93-96 lincoln mark 8 w/a 4.6 and supercharge it!! i think it would make a nice sleeper and probably ride better . -- dunno --what do ya think???

it would be a fun car (lincoln) and fast if supercharged , but if you supercharge your fox it will go faster maby look into a set of eibach shocks and lowering spring helped me alot..

i did a search and someone recommended monroe sensa-trac front struts - i never replaced any front suspension parts since i've owned it - 93000 miles on it. it's a cheap fix - maybe i should try that first!!??

you should def try that first because you know as soon as you get rid of the mustang you will want it back or another one.

Some adjustable struts and shocks would be better, you could soften them up and have it ride easier. It'll still be a Mustang, don't expect a silky ride like a Lincoln but you can get it easier on you.

lincoln has a way better ride than more than likely a lot of mustangs that you will ever get in. If you want to keep your mustang invest some money into the suspension. Everyone worries about what engine mod they will do next leaving the supension and brakes stock. Then what do you know they dont like the way it rides or stops. Looks like ford took a tip from the old 5.0 guys when the built the gt 500 and left the stock gt suspension under it.

You have basically the same set up as I do. I never get tired of my car. I work on it daily and it still looks like crap. Hence the name ODR. Which I could care less about. If its a DD then I understand. My DD is a civic. Its like driving a go kart, compared to a Mustang. I have to downshift 2 gears and HOPE I pass anything with a V6 or better.
Do some donuts in the rain with the top down and take a few girls with you.

I got ride of my last 5.0 because I was getting tired of it,it was an 89 vert, and ever since I did I wanted another one, thats what brings me here to start with.I would say stick with it and do what the other said.Invest some money into your suspension and stay of the goat paths.
