Default Maier 1 1/2" fenders on 1983 Mustang GT

Has any body had any luck with or knows whether or not the 1 1/2" fenders made by Maier Racing are easy to work with or even worth the expence.

Default Big tires on a 1983 GT

I've seen where guys have put 305's and 315 tires on fox body mustangs (83' GT) in my case, but I never saw or I totally missed what the off sets were on the wheels.
If I have to install mini tubs so be it, but I still need the off sets.
Any help would be awesome, I'm trying to resurrect my steed that I bought new when I was in high school.

If you have body work skills, then you can probably get them to work.

the quality is good, and they are much stronger than i thought they would be. the instructions were detailed, yet easy to read. the pieces at my shop will need minimal prep work before priming. (1/2 flares front and rear) ive been told they are tons better than tiger racing, but i havent purchased a tiger product, so i cant speak for them.

the front fenders bolt right on, and line-up like a stocker. only minimal trimming was needed to make the bolt holes line up on the innner fenders, but mine actually came with a template (only a test-fitment to test the waters).

they look like stock stuff. (though the lower portions bulge slightly if on a LX or 'stang without ground effects (especially if your lx has the "sagging" issues with the front fascia. the rear fender flares, however, are more involved. your trimming out large sections in the stock metal for more clearance, and attaching the fiberglass flares to cover it all up.. havent attempted any of that yet.

when the time comes for me to start the process, ill post some more info.
