Default getting an air intake the 1st of september..

so yeah im getting this 5.0 Mustang Cold Air Intake Kit (94-95 GT) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping! on september 1st and this will be the first mod i will be doing to my mustang and def. not the last. i was woundering is it an easy install? could your average joe do it? i also read the reviews and people said that AM sent them the wrong size clamps. does this mean i have to go to an auto store and get the clamps or can i just use the stock clamps if this happens?

that is a very easy beginner install. that kit should have the correct size clamps.

I just installed a BBK cold-air kit on my '88 LX. It was a very easy mod. Take off everything before the throttle body and replace with the new stuff. Much less than an hour, tops, even if you take it slow and easy. Go for it. The improved look of the engine compartment is worth it alone.

The cold air intake is a real easy mod to do. Hopefully this will be one of many mods to come. I have heard that if you put vaseline around the filter end that connects in the fender it will be easier to go on the bracket. Let us know how the installation goes.
