Any Suggestions? Im looking to supercharge???

My mustang is pretty much all stock as far as the motor goes. I did the headers and exhaust. I dont want to stroke it out so im looking to hear from the guys that already have a 5.0 supercharged... what all do you have done to yours? what heads did you go with? upper, lower intake? and does anyone happen to know of anyone selling a supercharger

Vortech had a great deal on theirs. AFR heads are the way to go, a good ported GT40 tubular would suffice for an intake.

we ran a old P600B Procharger it had a 17psi pulley when we started and a 3 core intercooler that ate up 3 psi. of boost no matter how you looked at it. We ran ported TFS TW heads a Edelbrock RPM intake, Anderson S/C for bigger boost then we run. C4 and 3800 stall and 373 gears with a 28in tall tire full body street car coupe and ran 10.90 making around 8psi. Had a hole in a boot we found it when we took it apart to sell the S/C to a customer of mine. We thought we had just out grew the S/C but in the end we wanted to go faster and really that S/C was maxed with the 17 psi. pulley. so it would have run faster but not much.

Now my customer that we sold it to has stock short block also DSS pistons. GT40P heads unported a very modified Cobra intake that I did years ago. Big mass air and T/B 42# injectors. b-cam shorty headers and exhaust, C4 4000 stall and 4.10 gears it is also a full weight street car Hatch. it has been 7.00s in the 1/8 with no more tune then I can put to it with a wrench and a timing light. and he only has the 14psi. pulley on it. it just plain flies for no more then what is there. But he has no hole in the boot you live you learn.
So get yourself some good heads I like the TFS stuff and the Fast As Cast stuff looks real good for the price but there are lots of good heads on the market. A good intake and a bigger T/B and mass air go big on the mass if you are gone to run a draw through get the biggest you can. if you are gone to go blow through then run the PMAS pipe that is what I run with our turbo set up and they work good. Just move up to a 42# inj. from the start. the F-Cam works well with boost or the stage 1 TFS cam or the stage 2 you wont need a huge cam with the S/C unless you are looking for the most power you can get. I would look into the Typhoon intake for cheap yes it is a China made part but it is cheap and works. or you could look into any other good intake I would look for a shorter runner intake with the S/C set up for more pull up top. is your car a stick or auto? gears well I would not go over a 3.73 even they will be hard to keep up with when you get that thing boosting..
or you could throw a S/C on your stock stuff with some good boost and run in the 12s or maybe faster.
