what is the best cold air or ram air intake i can get for my 89 5.0 fuel injected fox???

i like the bbk cai in the fenderwell, looks nice and performs well

thats the one i was looking at and i was thinking about putting a k&n cone one the end

Take out the air silencer from the inner fender and keep the stock air box.Install a quality air filter (K&N,etc),and you should be good.The factory setup is already a cold air intake.Unless you are going for shiny,then BBK and MAC are good.If you go aftermarket,make sure the filter goes INSIDE the fender,not under the hood,otherwise the engine is just sucking in hot air.I got a MAC for less than the cost of a filter since I was building the car from a scrap salvage yard car,other wise,I'd have kept the stock system.....if it had one..

i pick up mine on craigslist for 60.00 complete w/ only a few hundred miles on it. the guy s/c his car and didn't need it. he had wraped it all up and put in the box like it was new.

You bought a used K&N for 60 bucks? was it just the filter or was it a whole cold air kit?



If you're looking for a CAI why not go with the one from American muscle? you can put a better filter on the end of it, If you buy the bbk you're basically paying for the name. A BBK CAI is 160 from American Muscle and the American Muscle CAI + a BBK filter is 115 bucks. Just my .02$
