I said I did not know for sure. I had no clue a mustang ever came with a 9" rear all I said. Must be 60's or 70's they came in? I have never fooled with older than the 80's in mustangs.

Cool all I did is went to ole trusty mustang monthly. The 9" nodular did come in ultra high performance mustangs like the mustang boss 302! I did not know that so you learn something new every day. They also made a "W" housing that was called the war case used in many cars that probably is not much stronger than a 8.8. Check out this thread if you haven't it's pretty interesting.
