May still find a good deal on Vortechs I paid $1500 and after I sent back the extra parts I had money for a batter MAF and injectors. Heard a lot of bad things about powerdyne's!

Procharger superchargers are up there with one of the best and most complete kits. It cost a little extra but will give you a bit more hosepower. Sounds like the bottome end is built for boost. I would go with procharger. As for the powerdynes i have one and havent experienced too many problems other than the belt failing which cost me 70 dollars to get it back up and running.

Vortech, Paxton, ProCharger, and even Kenne Bell would all work fine. To use a Kenne Bell you'd have to use either a stock (but ported) lower, a Holley Systemax I lower, or a GT40 style lower.

Where did you get your belt from for only $70??
I have a Powerdyne with a broken belt that I need to replace before my new motor is finished... I was told it was going to cost me over $125 to replace!
