Default need some questions answered

hey guys. i swapped my new harness for my maf conversion over the weekend and i have a few questions. first, please see the first pic. i have marked what i have questions about. i know the upper part is the egr solenoid, but my question involves the other 2 solenoids below it. the harness i took out had a plug for both of these solenoids, the harness i put in only has one. if you look at the second picture, there are 2 plugs that the new harness has that my old harness didn't have. these seem to be taking the place of the plug for the other solenoid. what is going on here?

Those are the TAB and TAD solenoids. The plugs in the picture go to them. If your not running the SMOG system, then you dont need them.

the thing about the 2 plugs i highlighted is that they don't have anything to go to over there. they don't fit either the tad or tab solenoid.

also, is there supposed to be a pipe that connects the egr valve to the header or exhaust pipe?
