1992 Mustang 5.0 rear end swap

Does anyone know up to what year rear end will swap one for one with my 92 5.0 rear end?

Any 8.8 rear-end, which I know was in all the GT's from 1987-1993. I think 1985 and 1986 had it also. If you're talking about putting in a 9 inch rear-end. I am not sure there. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Ok from what I understand,any year from 87-99,and maybe later.The difference in the newer ones is the axles,you would have to get fox width axles for the 8.8 that you get.I have a 90 model in my garage right now,but it has the 95 axles in it with the abs rings on it.As far as I know those rings are the only difference and swapping axles will fix that real quick.

86-98, if you use the 94-98 you will get the benefit of a Disc Brake Rear.
