I have a 1995 Mustang convertible, 5.0 GT. Black interior, exterior and top. The switch for the convertible top is out, the ac doesn't work, the actual stereo I have in it has a poor cd player. The body is pretty good shape (pictures attached). It has a couple small oil leaks but nothing to where I'm putting oil into it very often (about 1200 miles). I was told that the transmission is starting to slip. (One potential buyer told me he would need to put a new transmission and wanted to check on the price).
The power windows, locks, seats, heat, lighters, cruise..are all good. Fuses, battery, starter, alternator are all good. I had a complete tune-up about 10 months ago.
Without saying what I have been asking, I'm very curious to know what those who know and have worked on Mustangs would buy or sell this car for. I don't want to get ripped off and I don't want to rip anyone off either.

How many miles and is it modded?

Oh yeah, including the miles would have been smart. 160k. Not sure about mod specifics, it had some kind of exhaust put in. (I've only had the car for 10 months and haven't done anything with it, so I'm just selling it. )

Id say $3500-4000

well assuming it need's a new tranny or at least a rebuild. oil leak's, alittle electrical work, without seeing the int. but assuming it was in fair condition NO rips in leather, I would give you $2500.maybe!! I find em all day long with 85,000 to 100,000 miles with typical mod's and gear's, 5 speed's, in good condition for $3800 to$5000.

Trans doesnt matter, that stock crap needed replaced whether it worked or not.

Def not worth anything over 2500. Not sure I'd throw 2500 at it with the biggest part of the car not working, the vert top.
