Default just resealed tranny, but leaks now

ok well i just put a shift kit in a few days ago and put a new filter and new pan gasket and its not leaking from the pan gasket it looks to be leaking from the lever that gose into the side of the tranny right above the pan, the lever that the shifter connects to. and it just started last night i drove it for a few days prior and no leaks untill i went out this morning and saw drops. is there a seal in there that might have went bad? there is 9 quarts in the stock tranny now is that right? cause it kept slipping a lil untill i put 9 quarts in. im lost i hate leaks and would like to get fixed while i still have time...

You need to replace the manual lever shaft seal. Its an easy fix and only requires you to remove the pan, TR sensor, and manual selector shaft. Carfully pry out the old seal, pack the new seal with grease or assy lube, and softly beat the new seal in using an appropriate sized socket as a makeshift seal driver.

Its pretty easy in my opinion. Theres not too many pieces involved so it should be pretty easy to remember. If you get hung up just PM me. I'd be happy to help.
