I really like what you are doing with your car. You should get a M5.0 badge custom designed for it. It would really mess with peoples heads.
If you are running one side of your exhaust backwards why not run a turbo? It might be a tight fit but they are more efficient than a supercharger. And if you are planning on going SC it shouldnt be much more work than what you are undertaking now with the swap. I have no problem with a Ford motor in a BMW. But a BMW motor in a Ford would be wrong.

BMW makes some wicked motors. Stuff that would humble our beloved 5.0.

I love your car. I woulda done a little crazier setup than a stock 5.0. But non the less, great job.

im usually not a huge fan of these kinds of swaps. it took me awhile to like the 5.0 miata, but after riding in one, i can respect it.

the bmw looks cool. ive always liked the E36 platform. be sure to limit yourself on mods tho, or the "daily driver" will turn into a "only on nice weekends-dialy driver"

oh, what kind of rear diff setup are you using? im not sure the factory 3 series axle can handle the additional torque of a v8

To get the 24# injectors to work in the car, get a C&L MAF with a sample tube for the 24# injectors. You can keep the computer stock, and then you can also just buy a new sample tube if you have to change the injectors with a supercharger swap, etc...

Are you using a Mustang wiring harness and computer? I can't imagine that BMW speaks English!

Man I would love to have that car I wanted to do a swap on a rear drive 85 Celica but I didn't have enough faith in myself. Good luck with the project and keep us posted.
