Anyone know where this goes? Hi Guys,
Well I finished my interior conversion this week from 83 - 88 and I can't seem to figure out where the red wire in the pic goes. I was hoping one of you could help me out. Everything seems to work ok so I am a little puzzled as to what this is for?
Thanks,

the end part of the wire makes me think that its a ground. But the color is red which is unusual. Its should be black or green. Maybe someone else can chime in and verify that.

the wire looks like a aftermarket wire, a possible ground, pull the radio and see if it hook up to the harness

You've converted from a 1983 interior to a 1988? No telling where it goes then but based on the connector, it looks like it was used for a ground.

Ok Guys thanks for your responses and your humour! The car is put away for the winter now so I will give it a go when I have some more free time.
Thanks again,
