Default Replaced entire Rear end...Now Front End alignment is off?

Does this make sense?

I had my mechanic swap my 2:73 stock rear, for a brand new Ford Racing 3:73 rear end assembly, and now the car is pulling to the right(*not* when braking). Before this, it was dead-on straight as an arrow. I was told to check my tire pressure, but the alignment was perfect before the rear was installed.

Any thoughts on this?

$hit i did mine and don't have that problem. i do have 17x9s on and sometimes it will feel like its out of alignment but its just because the tires r wide and roads suck. but u probably already know that...

Hmm...This car is *completely stock*, other than the rear end. It matched the car perfectly. Stock 16" wheels, and the stock 225 55 r 16 size tires all around. (Falken 916's).

Maybe it's possible that the tracking and alignment is a little off, from the factory rear. I'll have to have it looked at again. This car drove new-car-straight before the rear end was swapped.

something was probably bent or worn out so when it went back together w/ the new mounting points and upper bushings its now straight.
push down on the back of the car, does it move up and down smoothly?
look at it from the back, are the wheels centered under the car and from the side do they look funny?
if the alignment was done to compensate for the slop in the old rear bushings then the car was probably going down the road sideways before but tracked straight.
call the guy and ask him if anything was busted up

Thanks for the suggestions!

The control arms and bushings are original, the only hardware that was replaced (I think) was what came in the box with the new Ford Racing 3:73 rear end assembly(delivered brand-new form Ford Racing). The universal joints were replaced when this was done.

The rear looks perfectly straight from the back, and in both left and right wheel wells.

Both front and rear stock height springs were replaced with new ones about a month ago, all shocks and struts were replaced with Monroe sensa-tracks(new) 2 months ago. Front end is very tight.
