Default 1993 mustang engine mod help

Hey yall im kinda new to this site but not to the mustang thing, dads been ASE mechanic certified for 30 years and has owned a dozen mustangs haha. Just wanted a little input from you guys since i hear you all are the best ! well first i got a 1993 mustang GT it has 373 gears hurst short thro shifter (its a 5spd) has BBK pulleys and BBK air intake MSD cap and roter and MSD coil. also has Off road H pipe with magnaflow mufflers, it has 160xxx miles and i was told it has a racing tranny in it. (i installed all this my self) My question is to yall is what do you guys think my next mod is? iv been thinking bout heads cam intake, but if i do that what kind should i get? iv been told getting all the same brand works better is that true? i was thinking bout trickflow, or like gt40 heads, gt40 intake and e303 cam. im on kind of i tight buget and dont wanna blow alot of money on it but still wanna line up side them darn chevys and smoke em , or if you dont think that heads cam and intake should be my next mod then what do u think i should do? and what brand of product i should get? thanks guys! dont worry about cauclting the labor cost into it all beacuse ill do all the work my self, oh and by the way did i mention i just truned 16? Thanks guys!!!!

haha thank you, i have a trickflow street heat intake, but i was gonna sell it beacuse i figured i would have to use trickflow heads to have the ports match up just right, can i use this intake with other heads like the edelbrock ones and will my ports line up ok?

At this point you have no where to go but start building the motor. If you're on a budget like most, grab some GT40 heads, E303 cam, Exploder/Cobra intake, (always check PTV), and get yourself a nice tune. Definitely an improvement over stock. You can always build your motor in stages like I am.

use that intake and save up for better heads no reson to spend a few hundred on used heads clean em up and rebuild em by that time you have invested almost what a set of good aluminum heads cost and by all means avoid the for alphabet cams so many better choices out there.

or do your suspension now cause you cant keep that power with out being able to use it to its full potential.

yea so im getting all kinda reviews about this haha, um it has BBK lowering springs and Gabriell shock but thats it suspension wise. Im guessing a trick flow heads and intake and cam will make more power than Gt40 heads gt40 intake and letter cam?

ok so i was looking at some edelbrock heads, trickflow street heat intake and then a trickflow stage 2 cam? and then maybe long tubes or shorties. do i need to do anything else to get the full potential out of this combo?

If you can save up the money get trickflow or afr heads. Also stage 2 cam will be to big, look at stage1. I run afr165s,tfs stage1cam,cobra intake lower ported by tmoss,1.6rr and have a little over 300rwhp. Also dont forget to budget for all the little stuff like gaskets, oil, collant.
