i had a set or netto drag radials on mine...they were the 50 series on stock pony rims, they did not scrubb and had plenty of room left over....they did not hook....i had a 306...340 hp ..410 gears.....i could blow them off leaving at 1500 RPM,,,,,slipping the clutch would leave ok until power shifting to second......tire smoke again,i went to the 275 50 15 BFG,on weld lites and could leave solid a 2000 RPM....much better grip.

I have heard from several that the nitto are not the best drag radial. I am currently looking and researching and see that the MT are the better bet.

They'll fit. Just get a wheel with 5.5 to 6 inch backspacing.

275 rears should fit unless you're lowered then you might have a fender lip issue (which I don't think you are lowered)

alright, well i guess this set comes with 17x9" in the rear and I was thinking 17x9's all way around. I might just go 17x8's all the way around with some Nitto's.

You should definitely get 17x9 in the rear. That shouldn't even be given thought.

I have the Nitto 555's on my car.I do run 275's in the back.My fender lips are rolled though.
Teh Nitto's suck bad,as was stated earlier they do not hook,I can spin all through 1st and 2nd gear and sometimes third.

so you think 17x9's in the rear and 17x8's in the front would look good?

I've never heard that about Nitto, I've that they're nothing but good.

Dude...17x9s all the way around! My car is lowered 2 inches and I had 16x8s with 225/55/16's all the way around and when I cranked the wheel all the way, I would rub. Now I have 245/40/17 in front and there is NO rub....

275/40/17s in the rear...had to roll the lip but no biggie. I can fit 285's NO problem now, I didn't even flip my quad shocks.

My vote is 17x9's all the way around. It will look sick!
