Default Main Bearing Contamination?

I am helping my buddy rebuild his 302 and we ran into a chain issue, and we had to clearence the block so it wouldn't hit. Even though we took every precaution we could, I think we got some dust/shavings in the front main bearing.
Everything on the bottom end has been torqued down and ready to go. Can I just take the first main cap off, clean it up and re-install? Or Would this require me to remove all of them and re-torque in sequence??

You can take one main off and re-torque it. It doesnt affect the other mains. You have to remember, there is no pressure on the main caps when the block is up side down on the stand, besides the bolts torque. When the caps are torqued down, there is still clearance between the main bearing and crank journal. There has to be in order for the main journals to get oil.
