1989 Mustang GT, what do i do 1st

hey guys so i just got my 1st 1989 ford mustang gt about a week ago and love it!!.. it needs very little tlc but i wanna fix it up and make it nice.. so what should i do 1st.. i got a new clutch and all new weatherstriping cause it had a leak from the sunroof and one of the doors.. i wanna repaint it black cause the car was white and he did it black but did not do the inside of the doors and such and my hatch/ drivers door does not look like they are closed right(like there is a gap) so i wanna get that done 1st but then i should just have them paint it then right?? after that i should do the weatherstrip and so on..please help also i live on long island so if you know any1 that is good and for the right price let me know thanks!!!

as far as your door gap being off my drivers door did the same thing so i got the hinge kit from late model restoration kit was cheap too like under 20 if i remember fixed that problem

boy almost blew that one first open your door and pull up on it if it moves up and down you are gonna need that hinge kit for sure

The restoration items will make a big difference in how things fit/function/look. This means the hinge kit, new strikers for both doors and the hatch, new weatherstripping and seals.

ya the guy i got it from painted the car black(was white) and it looks good but does not look like it has a clear coat on or something cause you can live marks on it if you rub to hard.. car also needed a new clutch so i got that and both doors/ hatch weatherstrip
