Default UPR Tubular K Member install questions

Has anyone had problems trying to install a power steering rack at a tubular K member? Are K members designed to use non power steering racks? It seems that I would have to grind / notch K member or go with non power rack. Please see pics. Would like to hear back from anyone who has a tubular K member with non power steering, how dose it drive? Will appreciate all feedback. Thanks

Hi Reggie, any links to any web sites that detail alignment of K member?

Not sure what k-member you have, but I remembered seeing this description about one and since its made to have a longer wheel base, it may be why you are having the issue...

" (1979 - 1995 Mustang)
5.0 Liter

Tubular K-Member:

The QA1 K-Member pushes the Wheels Out and Forward about 1" to widen the track width and lengthen the wheel base. Fender to wheel clearance might be an issue that is resolved with a set of adjustable control arms."
