yea, its appalling what they do.
no seriously, destroy the car when it could yield work and
transportation for so many.
I don't know man, I don't know what we are doing, but I really don't
think its whats best for the economy.
There may have been other problems as well - a dealership would probably prefer to pay them $4000 for the trade then do the Cash for Clunkers. If they did it on trade, they would be able to sell if for more.
I am sure there is more to it then we realize.

That would make me feel a little bit better but this is still sad I would love to have had that car.

Sad reality is, and we're all guilty of it, you can buy a stock GT like that for less than $4000 any day of the week. YOu think there are many people in the world that would say, "Hey, I'll pay you more than Blue Book value just so you don't turn that in"? The former owner of that car was just looking at econimics and decided to go with the more lucrative option. He/she must not been very sentimental about Mustangs.....
That looks like a new car!!!!! Somebody needs to be shot.

that makes zero sense to me why somebody would even think about trading a car like that in (cash for clunkers or not), even if the car was only worth 2500-3000K on the street, what the hell is $4000 credit on a new car anyway, whole thing was a waste and just proves how many stupid car people there are in this world...
