You should probably decide between the two before spending some dough on your headers. Cuz they will be no good if you go turbo.

I have always been a big fan of turbo car. I own a 1994 SVT and i just put the boost brothers single turbo kit on it. Im VERY happy with it so for. The car is so much fun to drive. so i vote go for a turbo but thats just my preference. ANd the boost brothers kit you can get a hell of a deal on right now

shorty headers for a turbo. LT for a blower, but the LT's will loose you a slight amount of power but then increase it. So decide on a method of F/I before you go any further. Also, you might not want to spray after the blower/turbo

It's just how you want to do things. Some will swear on the power a turbo gives you, some will swear on the lower cost and simpler install but still get the same power of the supercharger.

been there done both I like the turbo over the S/C but that is me I took a very limited street car with the S/C to a very streetable car when I switched to the turbo. less cam, less gear, more power and less noise. But then again it is a matter of opinion. I really don't think I would go back to a S/C maybe a real big NA engine.

Based on a your goals you should start by looking at aftermarket blocks.......

Build it right not twice........

lol, i was wondering why till now no body motioned this, why twin turbo????

what about you routing assemble and engine block????

man you have to have a good foundation for single turbo, and for twin turbo you need to spend more money to strengthen you engine component.

my advise, to start with supercharger with low boost, then when ever you have better engine component you only need to change supercharger bully.

by the way you already have 150 shot, and this is beyond your engine, you will break your pistons.

regards

i dont understand why people think that 150 shot on the engine is going to blow it up... i have seem more than 200hp shots put to 302 blocks n they can hold up. mabe you have seen them blow up i have seen 50 shots crack the blocks but i can see how a supercharger would help but would be be in my best interest to start it off with a supercharger and from there see if i want to toss a turbo in aswell.
