Hi guys & gals,

I just bought a 1990.. for $600, running at that.

I was just wondering if anyone has an order preference of what they do first to fix up stangs.

For example, here was my thought:

Wheels (cause they're ready to blow)
bearings
rotors
brakes
aluminum drive shaft
pulleys
throttle body
manifold
chip
supercharger
cams
body
paint
interior

etc, etc, What do you guys think?

Before any performance mods......

I'd perform any & all general maintenance

Make sure the car is a 100% with regard to safety & reliability.....

You need to have a good foundation to build upon

A good ole fashion tune up and go thru.

Checking for anything major, after that, if there is rust or body problems.

As RLG34750 said, make sure the car is safe and solid. After that i'm sure you won't have a problem spending money on your car

you forgot something on your list Sub frame connectors before any add on's for power or even the body work

I agree about the go thru... safety first and tune up...

this one will be my wifes car, so its not going to be too spiffy.....
