Default Fuel Pump question?...

Ok now that im getting GT40 heads and Intake...plus i have the Paxton SN93 supercharger,...My fuel system consists of this...24lb fuel injectors,FMU calibrated to the injectors,70mm TB,77mm C&L Maf calibrated to the 24's...an Areomotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator...and the shop doing my car said for me to but the FRPP 190lph fule pump tha they sell it has bigger fuel lines and return its a whole drop in pump..But i hear so many people saying i should get the waldro 255lph pump is it really needed?....will the 190lph be OK? here is the pump info..

The 190 pump is plenty; many go with the big 255 as a "just in case you want more". If you intend to keep it mild with 6 psi of boost, the 190 would be enough. If you might up the boost, then I'd say go with the 255.

Thanks Eagle the older Paxton its hard to up the boost i can do an upgrade impeller to go maybe 8-10 max max..Its an 5-6 psi kit now so with the powerpipe...i might get 7ish maybe 8....so the 190 lph will be ok you think?

I agree but that price is for a complete fuel pump assy..with new lines and from what im told the suction and return lines coming out of the pump from ford racin are larger then a stock assy ...from which i would just be replacing the pump itself...unless do they make a complete fuel pump assy with a 255 lph???

why are you going with new lines ......

the stock lines will support way more than you have......
