hey i got a 302 off a buddy of mine.a rod was wasted. so I wanta pull the cam out and put in my motor. he said its a b cam or close to it.. On the end of the cam shaft it has H 1J29 H and then a 7 near the last cam bearing...Can anyone tell me what cam this is? the H 1J29J is stamped on the rear of the cam shaft.

Not sure if it can be identified by those numbers. If it's a B303, then you could measure the lobes with a digital caliper and see if it's .300 inch. If it is, then it might be a B303.

OK i just measure the lobes. and its roughly .349in. is that bigger than a stock cam??And i know i cant ask if it will be lopy b/c thats all in the duration and i dont know how to measure duration. but let me know if .349 is bigger than a factory 1991 5.0 Ho cam.
