Well, I plan to just rebuild the stock 302 and go with some form of forced induction. Imjust new to this am trying to feel out what combinations everyone else had luck with. With the stock fuel injection system work with the dart or world blocks?

I don't have any real budget, money is not an option. My goal is to build a mean 10 second street car and I will probably go the vortech route. I've always been a bowtie guy so I don't know much about Fords and the number one thing i've seen bitched about on all the mustang forums is the weakness of the 302 block. I'm really simply trying to feel out the aftermarket support and where it is because I know there is a lot of it. I also know I would like to keep the fuel injection instead of going carburated. I plan to start on the stock block with an engine rebuild, MAF conversion, aftermarket heads, intake, pistons with valve reliefs, and cam. I don't plan on building an all out drag car righ tthis second. But I want to know what the options are if I decide to

OK.....

I understand.........

with the right H/C/I & a fresh bottom-end getting into the 10's on a stock block motor is not that difficult with regards to the power needed to do it.....

But some form of power adder is almost a must.......

the secret is in the suspension.....

the power must be applied to the ground......

To coin a phrase

SPINNNING AIN'T WINING.......

Be careful when purchasing suspension parts especially from the warehouse companies.....

a lot of the guys are order takers & don't have a clue....
