I don't have any real budget, money is not an option. My goal is to build a mean 10 second street car and I will probably go the vortech route. I've always been a bowtie guy so I don't know much about Fords and the number one thing i've seen bitched about on all the mustang forums is the weakness of the 302 block. I'm really simply trying to feel out the aftermarket support and where it is because I know there is a lot of it. I also know I would like to keep the fuel injection instead of going carburated. I plan to start on the stock block with an engine rebuild, MAF conversion, aftermarket heads, intake, pistons with valve reliefs, and cam. I don't plan on building an all out drag car righ tthis second. But I want to know what the options are if I decide to |
