Default Question About EGR Spacer Delete on 1991 GT mustang

I have a chance to get a BBK SSI-R intake manifold off of a friend that is now selling his mustang the SSI-R is a non EGR intake manifold and i was wondering how or what i should do going about deleteing the EGR spacer. thanks for all the help.

You can either buy an EGR delete sensor or get your ECU tuned without the EGR. Are you getting a throttle body with it?

yea 80MM do you know anyone who sells the delete sensor?

Unless someone made one and then is getting rid of it, you'll have to make your own.

Know you may not need this, I've taken mine off and there's no CEL light. Some get it, some don't. It'd be good to be prepared for it in case you do.

do i need a bracket for anything? i was told that i need a bracket to mount something?

Yes, you'l need a bracket to hold your throttle cable inplace. I made one out of a piece of carb linkage from Autozone but it's not hard to find something to work at a hardware store. Just mill a few bolt holes and check that it is in about the same place as the old one was and your good. What I did was make it bolt up to the two of the four intake/throttle body bolts toward the firewall.

cool yea i think he is giving me the bracket too.. i belive its from summit or something of the sort.. what kind of gains can i expect with the ssi-r intake manifold?
