Ok im getting a 96 dodge ram 1500 series it has a rebuilt trans in it but it has a 3000 stall converter in it is this to steep to drive on the street will it burn up the trans i know its not a ford but i need to know

Should be fine, the question is if it's efficient or not. Efficient means you don't have to rev the engine to get it to move. If you did, it wouldn't be best for the street due to the slippage. A converter with a stall speed of 3000 isn't too much, I have one myself and it's gone to Phoenix from North Carolina so it isn't too much.

I have a 2400 stall I dont even notice it unless I put the hammer down.

ok i didnt know caause the guy that im getting it from said it would burn up the trans if i drove it on the street like that he has the stock stall but i dont want to wait on him to put it back in and i dont want to start working on it right away
