Here is what i think... mustangs are notorious for wheel hop and screeching tires when a good or even great driver is not behind the wheel, so why add power before you can get those tires to keep up with the rest of your car!! i suggest upper and lower control arms and a rear coilover kit, 3:73 gears (or your preference). that way if you do add power later, you're already capable of handling it all!!!

but for those that hate my ideas... i'd check the sticky above ^^^ always good stuff in there

You can speed lots off money real quick when you start doing suspension, rearend, and engine mods. Depending on you buget for the car will dictate what to do first. I the car still has stock gears this would be a good place to start. If you can afford it you can upgrade you locker and axels when you do gears.

I personally (and a lot of drag cars) use UPR adjustable upper and lower control arms. 1979-2004 Ford Mustang Pro Series Double Adjustable Upper Control Arms - UPR Products

and 1979-1998 Ford Mustang Pro Series Chrome Moly Adjustable Lower Control Arms - UPR Products

depends on how much highway driving your going to be doing, 4.10 is more of a racing gear i personally like the 3.73.
