Question 1989 Mustang GT, what's a cheap front brake upgrade?

I have stock brakes on my 89 GT and i am wondering what is a cheap upgrade than the ones on there.i heard someone say the mark 5 brake calipers can be used and they make some that have plastic and metal cylinders in the piston

If I remember right it was the 92 and you want metal pistons.

The stock rotor should be OK, I did the conversion on my 91 "What a differance" But, I also added steelbraided lines..

1 important thing if you to the swap..

You'll have to remove the master cylinder and once that is removed you'll have to adjust the brake booster rod acorn nut out 1.5 turns (1 1/2 turns ONLY) Mark it with a crayon so you know you did 1 1/2 turns.
Put the master cylinder back on, bleed your system and feel the differance.

The upgrade I know of are the '90 Lincoln Mark VII 73mm calipers. I would also get the metal caliper bushings from Steeda. They really help with pad wear and fade.
