Need advice for A/C compressor,1995 Mustang GT

i have a 1995 ford gt. i need some advice on if i need to replace my ac compressor, the clutch from the ac compressor, or both. my clutch from the ac compressor turned red from the heat. i know the clutch needs to be replaced but im not sure about the ac compressor. any advice is much appreciated. thanks

Is just the clutch glowing red or is the whole pulley assembly glowing red? Is there smoke coming from the A/C compressor when the A/C or defrosters are turned on? Could be alot of things. Could be a bad circuit causing the clutch to heat up could be a siezed pulley could be a seized compressor itself need some more information
