Default Huh? No ohm threw plug wires?

Ok so I'm trying to get my 5.0 started and I have power going threw the coil to the center of the distributer. But coming out of the distributer I'm getting nothing. I tryed bending the tab up on the rotor and still nothing. I desided to take one of my plug wires off and for sh8ts and gigls ohm it from one to the other... I have one of the meters that make a noise when ever its ohm'd out and the ohm reading was so low that it couldn't even make the sound go off. In need of new plugs I guess?

A low ohm reading is what you want. A high ohm reading is bad, forget the sound. What does the meter say when your have the plug wire out of the car and touching both ends with the probes?

I've seen some wires up as high as 6 ohms and they would work fine... its 40k volts... The resistance check only checks for resistance not leakage.

Just lay one of the sparks and wires out hooked up and WITHOUT touching it have a buddy try to start the car, if there is spark you'll see it.

The sound you referred to from your meter is an indication of "continuity" ---- Ohms is a unit of resistance. I = E/R

First, what plug wires are they?

Stock: 1500 ohms per foot
Ford Racing: 500 ohms per foot
Accel: 250 ohms per foot
Accel Race Wire: 150 ohms per foot
MSD Super Conductor: 50 ohms per foot
Moroso Super 40: 40 ohms per foot

If the meter doesn't read anything, then it's an OPEN circuit, meaning it's dead. If it reads O/L, it's out of limits and is also dead.
