Default 1992 Mustang door in 1987 Coupe

Just finished putting a 1992 Mustang door with power window/locks on a 1987 coupe. I changed the door pins as well with the kit from 5.0 Resto. Door opens and closes good but I noticed that the top part of the window frame from door does not create a seal with the top part of the body, Do i need new weatherstripping or will this not work?

Also the coupe has manual windows and I noticed that the door was a lot heavier than the 92 door isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

Depends need to adjust the door to the rear body then work forward. Door frame may need a little tweeking since you probably got it from a wrecked car or could be bad seal or may just need to restart the lining up of things.

Well I got the door of my 92 Hatchback and it lined up perfect before I took it off, also the door from the 87 coupe lined up perfect, all I did was change the doors from one car to another.

Thanks for the info im going to try to tinker with it again

If anybody knows what else it could be I would appreciate the info
