so i was looking at a different thread and got me thinking if i could put the hood of a mecury capri on my mustang direct fit i love the way it looks alot better than the stock mustang one

nope, sorry. It would take a front end swap or some fabricating for that but not going to be a direct fit

maybe on a 79-86 it might work? but not an 89

its not a direct fit. the front facia is diffrent from 87-93.meaning you headlights.if you want the hood you need to change the front facia as well,and then you have to change the front fenders too i beleive.if you look at the hood it has a scoop.find a scoop or use the scoop not the whole hood.ur

The capri will NOT fit a foxbody mustang......

thanks for the replies .. so does anyone know of a good site then that has hoods similar to the capri's but are made for 87-93 stangs?

Haven't seen any like that for the 1987-1993 body. If you're handy with tools and fabricating, you can always make your own.
