Default well...i think i am "selling out"

as some of you may know i undertook a 3.8 to 5.0L swap in my 85 vert that i started in july. well...its almost all complete now, i have the 5.0 in and mounted, everything is hooked up except for the wiring harness and it needs a new more powerful fuel pump and steel fuel lines. my life right now is as busy as its ever been, and i have almost NO time to work on it, since i mostly need help from my good buddy 05horse to do much. so i think what i am going to do is hand the car off to my mechanic and just let him wire it up and swap out the fuel pump and the fuel lines. i kind of feel like im "selling out" or copping out, whatever you like, but its gotten to the point where im mentally exhausted from this car right now. i just want it to be running so i can throw on the new doors and some fresh paint before storing it for the winter, and i dont think i could get it running before the winter by myself.

also, im gonna have some temporary custom exhaust on there, until i can buy some loudmouths.

i was really looking forward to having a feeling of such accomplishment after finishing it without a shop doing it, but i did 90% of the work....so i hope i still feel accomplished

Dude there is nothing wrong with having a mechanic work on your car. I take my car to a tuner shop to have most of its work done.

Don't feel ashamed or bad about it because most people won't even do it themselves they are either too afraid or lazy to try it out. I take mine to the shop whenever im installing new uprades

Don't beat yourself up, kiddo!! Plenty of people let others work on their car... there is no shame!
