Default No help with rear brake hose problem?

Didn't get much help today on the phone.

I have an 85 that I am basically upgrading the rear brakes to an 87 rear disc upgrade.

The problem I ran into is a difference between the rear center brake hoses.

The 85 brake hose has a female fitting that the rigid brake line from the master cylinder screws into --- it looks like this pic #1

I bought the Maximum motorsports braided stainless hose as I have just replaced the 7.5" rearend with an 8.8" --- pic #2

Apparently they changed the end of the hose on the 87 to use a "banjo" fitting.

To varify I went to Oreillys and I bought the aftermarket oem hose so I would have the bracket -- it was $20 and the maximum motorsports hose didn't come with the bracket - directions say to use you existing one --- which I dont have -- pic #3

But the problem is the fitting on the end of the hose

female universal brake line fitting vs. banjo fitting

What do I need to do?

That ^^^ would be the best way, that way you get exactly what you want with no headache of hunting it down.

thanks guys ...... thats what I wound up doing today. This afternoon I went to the KC pick and pull ... they told me over the phone they had 2 93 GT's on site. I get there and they dont differentiate 4 cylinder LX's from 5.0 GT's -- so that was a waste of 2 hours. Came back home -- seen Spd's post so I called Classic Tube === he's making one up for me as well as the hard lines that go across the axle. (The differential case on the 8.8 is a bit taller and so is the bracket for the center brake hose that I got from Oreillys) --- atleast I'm not having to run new lines all the way back from the master cylinder.

Thats no sh*t! I replaced all my brakes couldnt figure out why I had no stopping pwr. I did a conversion after replacing everything was adding the middle SS hose on rear see a gunk build up. I can only assume it was brake fluid such a small hole and so much gunk it was overlooked due to being up in the fender well. Definetly not paying for complete lines already bent and no way to install due to subframes already on. So had to make my own and cut just after the subframes what a PITA.
