I just came arcoss a full set of Autometer phantom gauges for $100 but the speedo is mechanical. Florida 5.0 says they dont sell mechanical speedos because they wont fit. But im not sure if they mean just for their custom gauge clusters or any. Is this true?

The mechanical speedo is the only thing you can use in the 86 car....

so in answer to your question yes it will fit......

i believe that Florida5.0 means it won't in their instrument cluster.....
