Default 1989 Mustang, Kenne Bell supercharger question

Has anyone used the standard on the blowzilla kit? What issues have you had? Are there any issues installing and tuning? I am looking to put one on my 89 vert but am still torn between twin screw and a centrifugal supercharger. My car is mainly stock other than underdrive pullies and exhaust.

Thanks

If you can afford the twin screw by all means DO IT!

Believe it or not the twin screw is just as cheap. For the standard kit you don't need injectors or fuel pump or anything. Just bolt on set timing and go. The only down side is that the KB kits don't come with injectors, fuel pump, etc. In a way that is kind of nice cause you can custom build what you want, but it is also nice to have someone do the research and trial and error for you.

I also have an 01 Saleen SC and I always thought it felt stock with the Saleen twin screw. I love the sound but I feel that it is lacking. Has anyone installed the blowzilla?

I haven't but I researched it for along time. Full boost comes in around 2200 RPM and you get stump pulling torque. Get the necessary upgrades for spark and fuel and have fun. I'm still prolly going to KB my 302.

The whine from the KB is just freakin sick. The centris are nice but they just dont have that scream that the KB's do. With the twin screw boost is full and immediate. Stomp and go.
I was going to put a KB on mine. After I found out what it was going to take, I decided to spend the money on a 2 week vacation to Hawaii instead. I still dont know what was better. 2 carefree weeks on Maui or a KB. I guess its a toss up. I would rather have the KB now though.
