I see why they chipped, they were repacked into one of those flat rate boxes, but the styrofoamcase the gears come in was not tight in the box. So during the transport via US Postal service the styrofoam case wasn't up to the task of keeping the gears in place.
The styrofoam case is actually in several pcs inside the box.
If the shipper had insured the styrofoam had no movement (ie stuffed the side to limit shifting) I would had a nice set of gears for $34.00 + shipping. And the best part is I stressed the fact he needed to be sure they were packed tight...
I've already put in a dispute with Paypal and contacted the seller. He has responded and has agreed to issue a refund as soon as I send some Pic's.
So all is not lost ??
I have a set of 3.55 arriving from another seller this week and I'll see how they turn out. (for $9.99 plus $15.00 freight) Those I plan on selling locally for $75.00 to $85.00 if they arrive undamaged... |
