I've been looking around at rear suspension setups for my Mustang. There is a lot of information out there and TONS of different options. Now I'm on a budget and I've been looking around for the best deal for the price. I've really been looking hard at a set with spherical bushings as I like to drive hard but this car is my daily driver and I put around 50-100 miles a day. That being the case I think that it might be a little harsh for me. Though people thought I would have problem with Poly motor mount and trans mount they have actually made the car MUCH smoother. Anyway I'm thinking about getting the best of both worlds. What do you think of this setup?
I was hoping the spherical upper in the axle would help with the UCA bind while keeping the poly bushing for noise/harshness. I figure if the bushings in the LCA's start going out early because of bind I could always replace them with those 3 piece poly bushings. I just don't want to be replacing stuff every year and/or regretting on putting something in that I don't like AND can't afford.
Comments?? Suggestions?? Thanks!!!

if you drive the car on the street everyday, stay away from the spherical stuff, believe me,it makes it pretty harsh..
i see the ad says those are "copies" of the granatelli stuff..if they're made even cheaper than "real" granatelli,id personally stay away..granatelli stuff has been known for bad welds, bushing blowing out and just general lack of quality
if you can swing an extra couple $$, HotPart Suspension Products sells top notch stuff reasonably priced..other than that your next best move would be something like this UPR kit 79-98 Mustang Elite Chrome Moly Urethane Control Arm Suspension Kit
one tip i can give you is that on other forums liek corral,in the classifieds section, either look for some used stuff,or if you PM some of their authorized UPR dealers, they usually give you a pretty good discount on that kinda stuff..i cna give you some of their usernames over there of dealers i've dealt with if you're interested..just shoot me a PM on here

Now I'm thinking of going that route with the spherical on the Axle housing and just NEW stock upper control arms. I think that would limit the bind to a minimum while still being OK for the street. That is of course if I can put with with the additional noise.
Can a few other people chime in on the NVH on spherical bushings? Is it really that bad? Some say yes... some say no...

depends on each persons definition of what a rough ride is..they are waaay stiffer than the stock rubber bushings, and you feel every little bounce/crack in the road
