Somebody told me that the HO motor had forged pistons and some other unusual pieces and parts that i thought would not come on a n/a car.I havent heard this before. Can someone help me out on this topic and set things straight, cause this really boggles the brain.

The 1985, and 1987-1992 5.0 engine had forged pistons, yes. The 1986 engine has pistons you don't want. The 1993 engine got those hyperpathetic pistons.
It also had forged rods, yes. The stock bottom end has a bad rap it doesn't completely deserve, as it's tougher than it's given credit for.

Ask me why I ran "only" a 13.54.

the 87-92 5.0L stock shortblocks with Forged Rods and Pistons have seen SO MUCH Nitrous and Forced Induction in the last 20 years, their TOUGH little Buggers!!
Correct Reggie I've seen blocks split long before a Rod breaking!
The front and rear bulkheads are thin and weak and usually when they fail it cracks right up the lifter valley. If you wanna play in the Big HP 302 and 351 league you need a BOSS,Dart,or World Products Man O War Block as your foundation!
